Privacy, in plain language

I/J Pilates Planner is a small, early-access product built for Pilates instructors. We keep this page in plain language because that is how we would want it explained to us.
What we store, and why
- Your account — name, email, an optional phone number, and a password (stored encrypted; we can never see it). Needed so the app is yours and syncs across your devices.
- What you create — your class plans, routines, schedules, notes and settings. That is the entire point of the app.
- Client information you enter — if you are an instructor, you may store details about your clients, including notes about injuries or health. This information belongs to you and your client: we store it securely, never look at it, never use it, and never share it. Please only record what your client is comfortable with, and remove it if they ask you to.
- Invite requests — if you ask for an invite on our site, we store the name, contact details and Instagram handle you chose to give us, only to send you a code and say hello.
- Feedback — anything you send through the feedback button, with your email attached so we can reply.
- Usage and error information — anonymous-style statistics (which features get used) and technical error reports, so we can fix problems and improve the app. We use PostHog (EU servers) and Sentry (EU servers) for this.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your information with anyone except the services that physically run the app (database hosting, error tracking, usage statistics — listed above). Your clients' information is never used for anything except showing it back to you.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in a Supabase database (hosted in Singapore) and a copy is kept on your own device so the app works offline. Usage statistics and error reports stay on EU servers. Everything travels encrypted.
Your choices
- Take your data with you — the app's Settings has an Export button that downloads everything you created as a file.
- Delete everything — "Reset all data" in Settings wipes your content, or contact us (below) and we will delete your entire account.
- Clients — if an instructor has stored your details and you want them removed, ask your instructor, or contact us and we will handle it.

The fastest way to reach us is the Send feedback button inside the app, or simply reply on the channel where you received your invite code. We are a small team; a real person reads everything.
If we ever change how any of this works, we will update this page and tell active users inside the app first.
